ADAC Governance

The ADAC Standards Project is the public-facing initiative responsible for the development, publication, and maintenance of the ADAC Specifications.

The project is stewarded by InnoVadens, LLC, which holds the copyright and trademark rights associated with ADAC.

Only documents published at https://adac-standard.com/specs/ are considered official and normative.

The ADAC Format Specification defines the core ADAC container.
Domain- and purpose-specific metadata constraints are defined in ADAC Profiles (e.g., Preservation, Genealogy, Legal, Legal-US, Legal-US-LA, Legal-US-PR).

Future profiles may be added as needed to support additional domains or jurisdictions.
